Rik kept going. The kick came and it was as if the Dane didn't feel it at all. The sad truth of his past is that it left him numb to pain and some of it was literally due to bodily damage. Most of it was just not caring. He stumbled a little and paused to get balance.
His tactics re-evaluated he shoved the Brit against the wall and then buried his head onto his throat and started to push. Rik was much lighter than Viktor and could probably be shoved away but Rik didn't want to injure him too much. Choking him out seemed more humiliating anyway.
