Meet up with an axe thrower
Viktor was looking forward to meeting back up with Aksel the Norwegian axe thrower and Vars' close friend. The Brit punk had first met the other man back during his trip to Norway with Vars. Just taking in the culture and seeing what the punk scene was like over the pond so to speak. Now, Viktor is on his way to the communal area to meet Aksel in the flesh once more.
Here's hoping they could axe throw once more and get drunk together. Of course, Vars should be invited first before anyone started chugging any booze. Viktor wouldn't have it any other way.
"Aksel? You around here, mate?"
The pyromaniac coming in wearing his thick leather jacket, boots, faded black jeans and a fire coloured fabric neckerchief around his neck. Some thick-set heavy metal chains attached to his jeans pockets and a detailed Zippo lighter hanging below his belt also adorned the singer. He leaned into the punk aesthetic heavily.

Viktor never set fire to any of his bombs until he was well away from the encampment he'd built with his gang members. A wooden shed-like building they'd lived in for a few years before Viktor eventually got himself enough money to move into an apartment.
"Sorry to hear about your girl. That's fucking rough. I've been there a few times myself with women. Vars is all I want now. Blokes are much easier than girls."

Soon he shrugged at the comment about his girlfriend. "It wasn't anything serious."
The Norwegian started to laugh. "You know, I never thought Vars would get together with a guy. We tried to date after his divorce and it was a stupid idea."
It had been an experiment and more an idea of trying to soothe his best friend after heartbreak.

Viktor knew that all relationships weren't serious unless it was someone you really loved and wanted to be with. A one night stand or messing about wasn't being serious. The Brit nodded in agreement then frowned a little at Aksel's words. He had tried to date Vars after his divorce. Why did the punk feel jealousy all of a sudden? It was more he'd never heard anyone dating Vars except that bitch, Trine.
"Oh yeah? I never knew Vars was into blokes before me."

'Not many." Aksel admitted. "It was a matter of the shit at the time. I thought I was going to lose him to the darkness after that bitch left."
He assumed Viktor didn't need an explanation to who the bitch was. Though he motioned at the bracelet that Viktor wore. "I see this is serious."
Vars wouldn't give away something he was rarely without unless Viktor meant a lot.

Viktor smirked at that. It had been a good day for stress relief and burning down Trine's billboard.
"Yeah, it is, mate. We're engaged."
The punk looked down at his bracelet and touched it gently.

Aksel knew most of his pack wanted to gut that woman, even now. He turned to the booze bottles and started pouring drinks.
"Seems like congratulatory drinks are in order."

Viktor just didn't want to talk about her anymore so focused on the drinks Aksel was now pouring. Time to get trashed. The more he drank, the more he could forget about that bitch.
"What are we drinking, mate? I pick vodka usually but I drink Mule with Vars a lot."
Unlike Mick, Viktor didn't strip naked and talk about pussy. He just got rowdy and started a lot of boisterous playfights.

He passed a glass over to Viktor. "Skål"
He raised his glass and then once Viktor did Aksel went on. "Til en ny bror i flokken."

Viktor used to live a rough life and knew he couldn't just roll up into a hospital if he cut his leg open, so relied on other means of medication to heal himself. Usually, his gang members bandaging him up.
"Jeg vil gjerne være en annen ulv i flokken din."
The punk's Norwegian was a little shaky but at least he could string a whole sentence together now.

Aksel was impressed with but not surprised that Viktor could speak Norwegian.
"Well, I don't imagine I have a choice." Aksel took a big drink then laughed. "Vars would kick my ass all the way back to Norway if I said no."

There were a few who didn't drink on the tour for reasons but most of the rock star drank in some capacity, some more than others. Viktor was one of the heavier drinkers along with Joe, Aarne and the crazy drunks.
"I've been a lone wolf pretty much most of my life until I met my "pack." My gang. They helped look after me when I ran away from home. It was fucking rough but I had to get away."
Viktor had bad memories and didn't want to bring them up, especially his father.
"Let's get trashed, mate."

They had a long friendship, that had occasionally ventured into other things, but Aksel is glad to see Vars happy. He hopes this will be a stable and long term relationship. Vars needed it and deserved it.
"We've had a few runaways come to us. It isn't uncommon but I'm glad you found a safe group."
Not ever street group is a safe group.
"Sure." Aksel leaned forward and refilled both of their glasses.
