Rock python is used here in the UK as much as ball python.

Your uncle breeds snakes as a hobby? That's fucking awesome, mate. What sort has he got over where he lives? I once had a corn snake, milk snake and kingsnake before I got my ball python. I've had loads of snakes and I've been thinking of getting a Chile Rose tarantula soon once I get back to the UK.

Vars might like meeting my snake and would probably like my spider too if I get one. Does Ziggy like snakes? He seems an open sort of bloke.

Mostly ball pythons and rat snakes, sometimes some Burmese pythons. He’s licensed and everything. It’s legit.

You should come over some time to meet Kazumi. She’s actually really good around people.

(I didn’t get her from my uncle, though. I would have liked to! But I had to get her stateside. Transporting animals from one country to another has a lot of weird rules where I’m from.)

Viktor nodded. Meeting Minoru's reptiles might be fun since the punk needed to experience more of life outside of the tour and making new friends was something he could do with since he had a hard time most of his life being shunned by most.

"I could bring over some rats for her if you want? I've got a shit load in my freezer back home."

"A snake playdate? I suppose it's something like that. More a meet-up to show off our fucking epic reptiles. Better than a boring cat or dog."

Viktor viewed it this way because he preferred snakes and arachnids to fluffy animals. Who needed a cat or a dog when you could have a huge python or hairy-legged spider? Those were much better.

"When should we have this meet-up, mate?"

Minoru sent the next set of dates that he had off from work. Hopefully at least one of them coincided with a break in the touring schedule.

“Let me know if any of those work. My place or yours?”

"How about your place since going back home will be difficult for me."

Viktor didn't want to go into why because it was all to do with him leaving home, or getting kicked out, for being a delinquent punk kid who lit too many fires. His old man banged up for ten years in prison and his mum? Well, he hadn't seen her in months. Just phone calls now and then.

"I'll let you know when we can meet up in the break during tours. Should be fucking epic, mate."

Minoru didn’t ask, nor did he expect an explanation. But he was looking forward to introducing Kazumi to another snake friend.
